Searching for the meaning of life
One of the most difficult and important stages for any
thinking person is the intensification and consciousness of the question
concerning the meaning of life. Some people are seeking for it since
their tender age, the others come to the consciousness of this question
while understanding a certain senselessness of existence, but just a few
people can definitely say that they have found the meaning of life. It
was so before, but nowadays the psychologists note a special interest of
people in this question and we can assert that the reactions of people
towards the understanding the meaning of life have changed greatly.
The meaning of life somehow resembles a horizon, which can be eternally
pursued but turns out to be one step ahead. Nowadays increasingly the
people who have gained some high achievements in career or business but
have not found an answer to the main question fall into depression.
Here at once another people appear who are willing to trade a sense of
life. These are fortune-tellers, extrasensory individuals, members of
some sects. And just as traders on the overcrowded market, they invite
gapers in every possible way, convincing people of the fact that they
really have a quality and worthwhile article of trade and not a
counterfeit.
For example, the famous Ukrainian philosopher Hryhorii Skovoroda
believed that the meaning of life consists in the search of your own
predestination, of such a work that can not only bring money but also
give pleasure. In other words, a person is somehow preliminarily
programmed for certain deeds, and when he understands his own purpose in
life he will be able to achieve inspiration. Therefore a sincere
question from the bottom of a heart of some person concerning a meaning
of life is often suppressed by instructions for seeking for the right
occupation or appropriate hobby.
By wondering why the people suffer we can come to some reflection. For
some people the meaning of life consists in the creation. They like to
create something, as for example the new buildings, drawings, books,
ideas and plans.
Many people want to distinguish themselves from the crowd, to become
special, to do everything possible in order to become known for the
future generations. Others are willing to achieve fame among the
contemporaries in order to get all the possible bonuses while being
alive.
Many things in life depend on the family a person belongs to. If the
family is wealthy, has the right social contacts than in this case a
child will have much more ways along which he can easily go forward
without thinking much about the difficulties of each new step.
Other people face difficulties while overcoming the obstacles,
especially if they were born in the country which is not enough
developed. In such a case there are just a few ways and there is a crowd
of people on each of them. Anyway, everything most often comes to the
material welfare and this is one of the greatest mistakes of humanity.
Sometimes such a way is constructive when a person tries to somehow
improve his life, to do something not only for himself but also for the
others. At the same time the people increasingly begin to understand
that the meaning of life consists not in the material but in the mental,
spiritual enrichment. The science Kabbalah plays an active role in the
disclosure of the true answer on the question

Many people are in the state of destruction and selfishness. Such people
hate everything around them, they suffer but don’t want to leave this
vicious circle. This is a way to the spiritual self-destruction and
death in any respect.
Most often both the constructive and destructive wishes mix together.
Therefore many people so often start shifting their feet, making one
step forward and two steps backwards, keeping on seeking for the truth.
It is hard to go in the dark, when you don’t actually know anything
about the reality. The God gave us the freedom of choice and therefore
the meaning of our lives is to use this opportunity and find the true
meaning, to become really free and happy.
